Why is there a limit on the bet?
If you'd like to bet all of your say 30000000 points (if you have that many), on a particular question with trivia, or on high-low why shouldnt you be able too?
Would someone explain to me why there is a max bet on games such as high-low or trivia, and why trivia is 1000000, and high-low is 10000?
Was there some sort of reason one was made higher then the other?

I completely agree. It's a waste of time when you're trying to make that billion point mark by playing those games. But on the other hand, if you lose those points it will really hurt. lol

It'll really hurt, but you can only blaim yourself for bettin all those points.

When the trivia game was first added, you could bet up to half your total points, which means that as you won and obtained more points, your betting amount could continue going up. However, at that time, there was a limit as to how many points you could win. For some reason, the system would set you back to 0 if you exceeded a trillion points...or was it a billion? I don't remember for sure. But now that there is no limit to how many points you can obtain, I'm not sure why the limit on betting remains.

Yeah, I agree that you should be able to set your own bet. At least premiums!

Yes, yes, good point. It should be for premiums only.

Nope, still not enough to get me to pay $25 a year.

Actually, since the points aren't worth anything anyway... maybe it all just a moot point premium or not.

Hmmmm. I'd never thought of this question before, but you raise a good one, John. Maybe the Admins or CL's will see this thread, and remove betting limits. I'd certainly be in favor of it.
